This is the first time I've been to NYC in the fall.  Upon landing at LGA and going to my hotel in Times Square, (I stayed at the Marriott Marquis this time instead of The Paramount and the room is twice as big) I then went over one block to a New York Pizza place.  The pizza was very good.  It was the best pizza I've had in awhile, actually.

Upon leaving, I then took a cab over to Central Park to go to Strawberry Fields.  I took a few photos, then walked toward the lake in the middle of the park.  There were people row boating, and the trees were turning great hues of red and orange.  It was wonderful to see.

Then I went over to The Dakota to see where John Lennon lived and died.  Pretty somber spot.

I'm back at the room now.  Have been watching Mad Men episodes from season one today on the plane ride up and now here in the room.  I've got to meet my car at 6:30 a.m. (5:30 back home) so it's gonna be an early start.  I very much enjoy New York City.  And since I've been here so many times, I've really wished more and more we actually lived here.  But I suppose that will have to stay a wish.  I don't know how we could even think of raising seven kids in NYC.  And so I shall stop thinking about it.

Okay, more Mad Men and then it's time to go to sleep.  The neighbor's just called to let me know Molly is loose back at home.  Sure don't understand how she keeps getting out, unless she really has figured out how to open the gate.
