For me, seeing a picture of Osama bin Laden‘s left upper brain quadrant missing isn’t going to do anything for me.  And if he was wrapped in a white sheet and set into the ocean, I don’t think there’s going to be much to watch there either unless his emanating energy like it was a Shroud of Turin–and God help us if that’s the case.  I’m not a conspiracy theorist and I learned a long time ago at a train accident that looking at a dead body doesn’t do anything to help me tell the story of the ultimate conclusion–Osama bin Laden is dead.

My suspicion is that the White House is gauging public opinion on the matter.  And they wanted to let the stories from yesterday clear before they released anything new.  (As George Carville said in the 1993 movie, The War Room, “No sense in letting this be a one-day story…..”

So, if the government releases his photos, what’s that going to do for you?
